Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft is a 2024 American animated adventure fantasy action film based on the Tomb Raider video game series by Crystal Dynamics. The film premiered on the Netflix movie platform on October 25, 2024.
Lara Croft travels to ancient ruins in Chile with Conrad Roth, where they find an ancient box containing an artifact. Lara warns him not to take it, but he does anyway, forcing the two to fight those who tell them of the artifact's dangerous properties.
The film series takes place after the rebooted "Tomb Raider" trilogy, which concluded with "Shadow of the Tomb Raider," and fills the gap in the timeline, connecting the trilogy to the original game series.
