Lou Clark (Emilia Clarke) knows a lot of things. She knows how many steps it is between the bus stop and her house. She knows that she likes working at the tea shop and she knows that she might not like her boyfriend Patrick. What Lou doesn't know is that she's probably going to lose her job or that knowing what's coming keeps her sane.
Will Traynor (Sam Claflin) knows that his motorcycle accident has taken away his will to live. He knows that everything now seems insignificant and joyless, and he also knows exactly how to end it. What Will doesn't know is that Lou is about to burst into his life with a whole palette of colors.
And neither of them knows that the two will change each other forever...
