After being invited to his first kissing party, 12-year-old Max (Jacob Tremblay) panics because he doesn't know how to kiss. Looking for some starting points, Max and his 6th grade friends decide to use his father's drone, which they are forbidden to touch, to spy on a young couple while they kiss.
But when things go completely awry, the drone is confiscated. Desperate to get it back before Max's father gets home, the boys run away from school and embark on an epic adventure filled with bad decisions, including accidentally stolen opiates, paintballing in college dorms, and running from the police and terrified teenage girls.
