Bad boys forever (Bad Boys for Life) is a 2020 American action comedy film directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilal Fallah from a screenplay by Joe Carnahan and Chris Bremner. The film premiered in Bulgaria on January 17, 2020.
Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) has already become a police inspector, and Mike Lowry (Will Smith) is in the throes of a midlife crisis. The two are reunited when a fearsome Albanian mercenary, whose brother was killed by them, seeks revenge for him, just before the duo officially retires from service.
The third film "„Bad boys“" was discussed even after the success of the second, and the "original" director Michael Bay stated that he was interested in rejoining the production, but budget constraints made this difficult. The film went through several development attempts over the next decade, with several screenwriters and directors being "attached" to it. In October 2018, the project was still officially announced and filming continued from January to June 2019 in Atlanta and Miami.
