Jurassic Park (Jurassic Park) is a 1993 American adventure fantasy film directed by Steven Spielberg according to the scenario of Michael Crichton and David Kopp. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Michael Crichton. The film premiered in Bulgaria on September 17, 1993.
The action takes place on the non-existent island of Isla Nublar, near Costa Rica, where an eccentric billionaire philanthropist and a small team of geneticists have created a park of cloned dinosaurs.
After a tragic incident in which one of the workers was killed by one of the dinosaurs, the park's founder, John Hammond (Richard Attenborough), invites paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and his assistant Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) to visit the park and confirm that it is safe. They are joined by Hammond's attorney, Donald Genaro (Martin Ferrero), and chaos theory specialist Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum).
When they arrive on the island, they are amazed by the fact that Hammond has created living dinosaurs, but at the same time it fills them with doubts. Soon, after the park's power is turned off by a compromised scientist and the dinosaurs manage to escape, the new visitors' doubts prove to be justified...
