Anthem

Anthem is a multiplayer action RPG video game developed by BioWare and published by EA (Electronic ArtsThe game was released on February 22, 2019 for Microsoft Windows PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Players take on the role of a freelancer, part of a group of people who leave their civilization to explore the surrounding space.

Anthem combines a third-person shooter and an action role-playing game (RPG) gameplay elements in an open world shared with up to three other players, in which they take on the role of freelancers wearing fully customizable exo-suits called „Javelins“. These suits can be customized with a variety of unique weapons and superhuman abilities. There are several types of „Javelins“: Ranger – versatile and balanced; Colossus – larger and more heavily armed; Storm – uses powerful technology to release powerful energy while floating freely in the air; Interceptor – focused on close combat, moving quickly in and out of combat.

Players can form relationships with various non-playable characters, but cannot form romantic relationships with them, as was the case in previous BioWare games. The central meeting point is located in Fort Tarsis, which is also the home base of Anthem. Created by the eponymous General Helena Tarsis, it serves as a fortified facility against outside threats and also the point where the player goes to receive new missions and assignments. It is a gathering place where all of the game's various factions meet, including the Sentinels, Corvus, and Arcanists.

The game features both single-player and multiplayer elements in a shared world, with up to 4 members per squad. Teams battle ferocious beasts and ruthless assassins while exploring lost ruins and witnessing massive, world-changing terrain.
