Star Trek: Discovery (2017 – 2024)

Star Trek: Discovery (Star Trek: Discovery) is a 2017 action adventure film created by Bryan Fuller and Alex Kurtzman. The film premiered on CBS is on September 19, 2017.

The film series begins about ten years before the events of Star Trek: The Original Series since 1966, when the actions of Commander Michael Burnham (Soneka Martin-Green) start a war between the United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire. She (the commander) is court-martialed, stripped of her rank, and reassigned to USS Discovery, which has a unique means of propulsion called "„Spore Drive„". After an adventure in the Mirror Universe, Discovery helps end the Klingon War. In the second season, they investigate seven mysterious signals and a strange figure known as the "Red Angel," and battle a rogue artificial intelligence. This conflict culminates in Discovery traveling to the 32nd century, more than 900 years into their future.

USS Discovery finds the Federation fragmented in the future and investigates the cause of a cataclysmic event known as "The Burn" in the third season. Burnham is promoted to captain of Discovery at the end of the season, and in season four, the crew helps rebuild the Federation while facing a cosmic anomaly created by unknown aliens that causes destruction throughout the galaxy. In season five, Discovery embarks on a galactic adventure to discover a mysterious ancient power that other dangerous groups are also seeking.
