The Faceless: Chapter Two (The Strangers: Chapter 2) is a 2025 American horror film directed by Renée Harlin from a screenplay by Alan R. Cohen, Alan Friedland, and Amber Lautfi. The film is set for a US release on September 26, 2025.
The Strangers: Chapter 2 continues the nightmarish journey that began in the first film in the new trilogy. This horror thriller returns to the familiar masked killers who once again stalk their victims - this time in the sterile and tense corridors of a medical facility.
The main character, Maya (Madeline Pecs), who survived the first attack, is being hunted again – after the shock she experiences, she wakes up in a hospital, but her calm turns out to be deceptive. The strange intruders have returned with a new strategy: this time they won’t just scare her… they want to destroy her completely. The mysterious character Gregory (Gabriel Basso), appearing between scenes for a mysterious purpose, as does Shelley (Emma Horvath), which supposedly offers help, but may be hiding much more.
„"„The Faceless: Chapter Two“" is a dark and prolonged battle – this time with a strong psychological field and concentrated horror in a hospital environment. Despite the preserved slasher formula, there is a sense of an attempt at emotional development and conquest of the viewer's psyche. If you are a fan of intense psychological horror and are ready to experience 162 minutes of fear, the film will give you that – but the music of the third chapter will probably be the one that will solidify the impression.
