Maximo (Eugenio Derbes) seduces wealthy older women, eventually marrying one of them who is twice his age. 25 years later, bored of waking up next to his 80-year-old wife, he gets the biggest surprise of his life when she dumps him for a younger car salesman. Forced to leave his mansion and desperate for shelter, he must move into the small apartment of his estranged sister Sarah (Salma Hayek) and her son Hugo (Rafael Alejandro).
Eager to return to the embrace of luxury, Maximo uses his nephew's crush on a classmate to get to his new target - her grandmother Celeste (Raquel Welch), who is a widowed billionaire. Trying to regain his power as a Latin lover, he becomes close to his nephew Hugo and begins to realize that what he is striving for is not as important as the love of family.
