The film tells the story of the crimes of Ted Bundy (Zac Efron), seen through the prism of his longtime friend Elizabeth Klöpfer, who for many years refused to believe the truth about him.

Serial killer Ted Bundy became infamous in the 1980s for committing several heinous crimes against women, despite the disbelief of his girlfriend, who watched idly from a truly unique perspective as the crimes were committed.
