The Alien (Alien) is a 1979 American fantasy film directed by Ridley Scott from a screenplay by Dan O'Bannon.
Returning from a deep space mission, the crew of the spaceship Nostromo is awakened by a possible SOS signal from the system they are passing. Descending to the planet's surface, they discover a strange derelict spacecraft - the possible source of the distress signal - and one of the crew members descends into its interior.
What he finds there are thousands of alien eggs. While examining one of the eggs, it hatches and the parasite inside it attacks him. After returning to the Nostromo, the team heads back to Earth. The alien parasite dies in the meantime and everything seems to be fine again. But what no one knows is that the alien is actually forming inside the host it attacked and when it comes out into the world, the crew finds itself in serious danger.
