Argyle: Superspy (Argyle) is a 2024 American action thriller film directed by Matthew Vaughn from a screenplay by Eli Conway and Jason Fuchs. The film is set to be released in the United States on February 2, 2024.
Ellie Conway (Bryce Dallas Howard) is a reclusive bestselling author of spy novels whose idea of bliss is a night at home with her computer and her cat Alfie. But when the plots of Ellie's fictional books, which center on secret agent Argyle and his mission to expose a global spy syndicate, begin to mirror the covert operations of a real-life spy organization, quiet evenings at home are a thing of the past.
Accompanied by Aiden (Sam Rockwell), a cat-allergic spy, Ellie (carrying Alfie in her backpack) embarks on a race across the globe to stay one step ahead of assassins as the line between Ellie's fictional world and her real one begins to blur.
