„Camp Rock 3“ (Camp Rock 3) is an American musical comedy and coming-of-age film that continues the popular Disney series that began with Camp Rock in 2008. It is directed by Veronica Rodriguez, and the script was written by Aidy Fay. The premiere is on August 13, 2026 on Disney Channel, followed by a release on Disney+ on August 14. The film reunites the Jonas Brothers in their roles from the previous installments and introduces a new generation of characters to the camp.

The story begins when the band Connect 3 loses their opening act right before a big tour. In order to find suitable new performers, the band members return to Camp Rock, where they organize a kind of musical competition. Among the new participants are the ambitious Sage, guitarist Fletch, talented cellist Rosie and drummer Cliff. The competition quickly becomes a test not only of their musical abilities, but also of their friendships and relationships with each other.

At the heart of the new generation is Liamani Segura as Sage – a talented and ambitious young singer who is ready to do anything to get a chance to get on the big stage. Opposite her stands out Malachi Barton like Fletch, while Lumi Pollack plays Rosie, and Casey Trotter – Cliff. Hudson Stone plays the role of Desi, Sage's brother, which adds family tension to the musical rivalry.

Particularly important for fans of the original films is the return of Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas и Kevin Jonas as Shane, Nate and Jason Gray. The three are once again part of Connect 3 and are also executive producers of the new production. Demi Lovato also returns as Mitchie Torres in a special appearance and is among the executive producers. Maria Canals-Barrera reprises the role of Connie.

The direction of Veronica Rodriguez retains the familiar formula of the series – music, dancing, rivalry and romantic relationships, but puts a new generation of characters at the center. The script of Aidy Fay seeks to combine the nostalgia of the original films with themes that resonate with today's youth audience. Thus, Camp Rock becomes once again a place where talent is important, but not the only condition for success.

The music remains the heart of the production. "„Camp Rock 3“" includes new original songs, as well as compositions related to the previous films and Connect 3. The soundtrack uses a more diverse mix of styles - from pop and country to K-pop, R&B, hip-hop and folk. In this way, the film attempts to expand the musical identity of the series without giving up its characteristic youth pop sound.

One of the film's strengths is its intergenerational connection. The return of the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato allows the production to use familiar faces, but the story doesn't rely solely on nostalgia. The focus is on the new characters, who must forge their own relationships and find their own place in the world of Camp Rock.

The theme of competition is used as a basis for a more universal coming-of-age story. Each of the young characters has a different idea of what success means – for some it is fame, for others recognition, and for still others the opportunity to simply be heard. Gradually, they understand that winning a competition is not the most important thing if it means sacrificing their friendships.

Visually "„Camp Rock 3“" stays close to the Disney Channel style - bright sets, dynamic musical performances and choreography aimed at a young audience. At the same time, the production features a more contemporary musical look and a new ensemble of performers, allowing it to feel like a sequel, rather than just a rehash of the original films.

„Camp Rock 3“" is a film created for two generations of viewers at once. For younger audiences, it offers new characters, songs, and a story about friendship and ambition, while for fans of the original films, the return of the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato brings a strong nostalgic element. It is this balance that is key to the success of the third part.

Ultimately "„Camp Rock 3“" is a light and upbeat musical adventure that retains the core characteristics of the series, but passes the baton to a new generation. The film does not seek to reinvent the genre, but rather to continue a familiar and beloved formula with new songs, new characters and familiar faces. For fans of the Disney Channel and the original "„Camp Rock“"It's a pleasant return to the world of music, friendship and summer adventures.".
