The Ba***ds of Bollywood is a 2025 Indian adventure comedy series film created by Aryan Khan. The film premiered on the Netflix movie platform on September 18, 2025.
The series mixes humor, intrigue, personal and professional conflicts, double standards, and behind-the-scenes Bollywood scandals. While some scenes feel cartoonish and the plot sometimes falters, the series achieves immediate appeal with visual brilliance, an iron-fisted cast, and good fun.
The main character is Aasman Singh, a young man from Delhi who, after a debut hit ("„Revolver“") rises in Bollywood. He signs a contract with a powerful producer named Freddy Sodawalla, and is given the opportunity to star in a film with Karishma Talwar, the daughter of a famous star actor, which drags Aasman into a complex world of family expectations, corporate backroom deals, tabloid scandals, and betrayals. Karishma also turns out to be not just a love interest, but a character whose personal ambitions and family burdens are a serious obstacle.
„"„The Ba**ds of Bollywood“" is a series that brings a lighthearted tone, fun, and mature perspective on the industry from the inside. If you look beneath the glamour and want to see what lies beneath the surface, you'll love the series — but don't expect perfection. There are moments that shine, and others that could be more polished.
