The Peacemaker (Peacemaker) is a 2022 American fantasy crime action film series created by James Gunn. The film premiered on movie platforms on January 12, 2022.
After the events of "„Suicide Squad“", Christopher Smith / Peacemaker recovers from his injuries and is forced to join a secret ARGUS team called "Project Butterfly." Their mission is to identify and eliminate parasitic creatures known as "butterflies" that have taken over human bodies around the world.
The second season expands the universe by introducing the concept of the multiverse. Peacekeeper encounters an alternate version of himself, leading to questions about identity and reality. He also faces off against Rick Flag Sr., Rick Flag's father, who seeks revenge for his son's death.
