Home Alone 2 (The Secret Life of Pets 2) is a 2019 American animated adventure film directed by Chris Reno and Jonathan del Val from a screenplay by Brian Lynch. The film premiered in the United States on June 7, 2019.
In the long-awaited sequel to "„Home alone“" since 2016, Max the terrier has to get used to some big changes in his life. His owner (Ellie Kemper) is now married and has a young child, Liam. Max is so anxious about protecting the child that he has a nervous tic.
On a family trip to a farm, Max and the dog Duke (Eric Stonestreet) encounter intolerant cows, hostile foxes, and a terrible turkey, all of which contribute to Max's anxiety.
Luckily, Max gets some guidance from veteran farm dog Rooster (Harrison Ford), which forces Max to get rid of his neuroses, find his inner peace, and give Liam a little more freedom...
