Captain Marvel 2 (The Marvels) is a 2023 American adventure fantasy film directed by Nia DaCosta from a screenplay by Nia DaCosta, Megan McDonnell, and Elisa Karasik. The film is set to be released in the United States on November 10, 2023.
Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) or known as Captain Marvel, reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and embarked on a mission of revenge. However, unintended consequences force Carol to bear the brunt of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her into an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with those of Jersey City superfan Kamala Khan (Iman Velani), also known as Miss Marvel, and Carol's estranged niece, now an astronaut, Captain Monica Rambo (Teyonah Paris) by SABER.
The film is a sequel to "„Captain Marvel“" from 2019, as well as the "Ms. Marvel" film series from 2022, and is the 33rd film in the "„Marvel Cinematic Universe„".
