Jungle Book (The Jungle Book) is a 2016 American adventure fantasy film directed by Jon Favreau from a screenplay by Justin Marks and based on the book by Rudyard Kipling. The film premiered on April 15, 2016.
The film is a new epic action adventure about Mowgli (Neil Sethi), a cub raised by a family of wolves. Mowgli realizes he is no longer wanted in the jungle when the fearsome tiger Shere Khan (dthe lasso on Idris Elba), carrying on oneself the scars on The man, threatens to remove what sees as a threat.
Driven to abandon the only home he has ever known, Mowgli embarks on a gripping adventure of self-discovery, guided by his panther mentor Bagheera (voice of Ben Kingsley) and the free-spirited bear Baloo (voice of Bill Murray).
Along the way, Mowgli encounters jungle creatures who are unconcerned by his desires, such as the python Ka (voice of Scarlett Johansson), whose seductive voice and gaze hypnotize the man-beast or the calmly speaking King Louis (the voice of Christopher Walken), who tries to force Mowgli to reveal the secret of the illusory and deadly red flower - fire.
