The Highwaymen is a 2019 American crime film directed by John Lee Hancock from a screenplay by John Fusco. The film was released in the United States on March 29, 2019.
Criminals make the headlines. Law enforcement makes history. The film follows the untold story of the legendary detectives who captured Bonnie and Clyde.
When the full might of the FBI and the latest forensic technology aren't enough to catch the country's most notorious criminals, two former Texas Rangers, Frank Hammer (Kevin Costner) and Manny Gault (Woody Harrelson), they have to rely on their basic instincts and "old school" skills to get the job done.
