Speak no evil. (Speak No Evil) is a 2024 Danish-Dutch horror film directed by James Watkins from a screenplay by Christian Tafdrup, Mads Tafdrup, and James Watkins. The film is set to be released in the Netherlands on 12 September 2024.
While on vacation in Tuscany, two families – one Danish and one Dutch – meet and quickly become friends. Months later, the free-spirited Dutch family invites the more conservative Danes for a weekend getaway to their country home. However, things soon spiral out of control as the joy of the encounter is replaced by misunderstandings. The Dutch hospitality quickly becomes unnerving for the Danes, and they find themselves increasingly caught in a web of their own politeness in the face of their eccentric (or rather sinister) behavior.
