Predator: Killer of Killers is a 2025 American animated fantasy action film directed by Dan Trachtenberg and Joshua Wasung from a screenplay by Micho Robert Rutare, Dan Trachtenberg, John Thomas, and Jim Thomas. The film premiered on the Hulu movie platform on June 6, 2025.
The film Predator: Killer of Killers expands the universe of the Predator franchise through an anthology of three separate stories, each set in a different historical period.
The film features three of the fiercest warriors in human history, who face off against the Predator - an alien hunter known for his mastery in pursuing the most dangerous prey:
„The Shield“" – The story is set in Scandinavia in 841, where a Viking warrior woman leads her son on a bloody quest for revenge. They encounter a predator who they believe is the mythical Grendel from the epic poem "Beowulf.".
„The sword“" - Set in Japan during the feudal period, this installment tells the story of a ninja who turns against his samurai brother in a battle for inheritance.
„The Tower“" - The action takes place at the end of World War II, when an American pilot faces an alien threat in the skies over Florida.
In the final part of the film, the three heroes — a Viking, a samurai, and an American pilot — meet on the predators' home planet, where they are forced to fight in a gladiatorial tournament for the enjoyment of the locals.
Predator: Killer of Killers offers an innovative take on the franchise, blending historical contexts with science fiction elements, presenting Predators across different cultures and time frames. The animation style, inspired by the Arcane series, gives the film a unique visual look that complements the fast-paced and intense battles.
