Exiles of Earth is a 2026 American science fiction anthology film directed by Arturo José Corsés, Carl Regen, Matteo Scarfo, and Joe Ursino, from a screenplay by Arturo José Corsés, Carl Regen, and Joe Ursino. It premiered on August 11, 2026.

Plot

Exiles of Earth brings together five independent science fiction stories dedicated to humanity beyond Earth. In Outer Reaches Two space explorers crash land on a planet that turns out to be inhabited by intelligent microorganisms. Phenohunting presents a near future in which a severe agricultural crisis forces humanity to seek survival opportunities outside of Earth.

В Zarmina's World tells of an encounter with an alien world, while Pale Blue Dot: A Tale of Two Stargazers takes the story thousands of years forward, when an astronaut returns to Earth and encounters a robot that has developed its own consciousness. GRACE follows a woman who wakes up alone on an unknown world with no memory of how she got there, and tries to reach a base camp as her oxygen supply dwindles. The five stories have different characters and situations, but are united by the theme of humanity being forced to seek a place beyond its planet.

Directing

The anthology structure allows the four directors to present different faces of science fiction. Carl Regen is behind Outer Reaches, Eric Bakshi directs Phenohunting, Matteo Scarfo is the director of Pale Blue Dot: A Tale of Two Stargazers, and Joe Ursino is filming GRACE. For Zarmina's World the directorial credit is attributed to Arturo José Corces.

The various stories range from space survival and alien horror to more intimate themes such as memory, trust, and the human-machine bond. Rather than building a single narrative, the production uses five distinct perspectives on the future of humanity. Each segment has its own atmosphere and dramatic situation, but remains part of the larger idea of life after leaving Earth.

Acting

Cam Beatty participates in Outer Reaches like Hargrave, and Arturo Jose Corces, Andrew Gonzalez and Brooklyn McDaris are among the main performers in Zarmina's World. Corses plays Smart, Gonzalez is Inatos, and McDaris plays Celine. The diverse cast is a natural consequence of the anthology structure.

В Pale Blue Dot: A Tale of Two Stargazers participate Valeria Belardelli, Alessandro Damerini, Francesca La Scala, Enzo de Liguoro and Lucia Cristofaro, and Gaia Brooks and Keoki Trask are in the center of GRACE. Francesca La Scala returns as Doctor Vasilia from the earlier short film of the same name. Pale Blue Dot: a tale of two stargazers, which is a direct connection between the two projects.

Conclusion

Exiles of Earth uses the anthology format to explore the future of humanity from five different perspectives. From surviving on an unknown planet to returning to Earth after millennia, the individual stories offer a variety of science fiction situations. Their common theme is the search for a new place for humanity and the question of what remains of it when the home planet is no longer home.

For sci-fi fans, the anthology offers a variety of space adventure, alien horror, dystopian ideas, and more intimate human stories. The roughly 58-minute runtime allows the five segments to remain relatively tight without the production turning into one long narrative. Exiles of Earth is an independent genre project that puts various authorial ideas under the general theme of humanity beyond Earth.
