Alice (Florence Pugh) and Jack (Harry Styles) are fortunate enough to live in the perfect society of Victory, an experimental lifestyle town run by the Victory Corporation, home to the men working on the company's top-secret project, as well as their families. The public optimism of the 1950s, fueled by their CEO, Frank (Chris Pine) – a corporate visionary and motivational life coach – anchors every aspect of everyday life in a tight-knit desert utopia. While the husbands spend each day at the company’s headquarters working on „developing the materials of the future,“ their wives – including Frank’s graceful partner, Shelley – can spend their time enjoying the beauty, luxury, and depravity of their community.
