Bride Hard is a 2025 American comedy action film directed by Simon West from a screenplay by Sissy Pleasants and Shayna Steinberg. The film is set to be released in the United States on June 20, 2025.
Alone (Rebel Wilson) is an elite agent for a secret government organization accustomed to missions where her only companions are high-tech weapons and cold-blooded precision. But when she is forced into a completely different role—that of a bridesmaid at her childhood friend Brooke's wedding—her life suddenly takes on a pink hue, lace... and explosions.
The wedding is taking place at a luxury resort, where everything seems perfect – until a group of mercenaries, led by a former ally turned enemy, shows up. They take over the ceremony, take the bride and guests hostage, and their plan involves not just a ransom, but the theft of classified data hidden by the government in this very hotel.
Sam is forced to use all her skills—from martial arts and cover-up skills to improvising with cupcakes and bouquets—to take on the terrorists without revealing her true identity. On top of that, she must deal with emotional turmoil, old secrets between friends, and inconvenient relatives.
Combining action in the style of "„Die hard“"with humor and romance, "„Bride Hard“" is an explosive parody of the spy genre, in which rouge and a submachine gun go hand in hand.
