Borderlands (2024)
Borderlands is a 2024 American action adventure film directed by Eli Roth from a screenplay by Eli Roth and Joe Crombie. The film is set to be released in the United States on August 9, 2024.
Lilith (Cate Blanchett), an infamous bounty hunter with a mysterious past, reluctantly returns to her home, Pandora, the most chaotic planet in the galaxy. Her mission is to find the missing daughter of Atlas (Edgar Ramirez), the most powerful SOB in the universe.
Lilith forms an unexpected alliance with a ragtag team of incompatible characters – Roland (Kevin Hart), an experienced mercenary on a mission; Little Tina (Ariana Greenblatt), a wild pre-teen destroyer; Krieg (Florian Munteanu), Tina's muscular defender; Tanis (Jamie Lee Curtis), the strange scientist who has seen it all; and the wise robot Claptrap (Jack Black).
Together, these unlikely heroes must battle an alien species and dangerous bandits to uncover one of Pandora's most explosive secrets. The fate of the universe may be in their hands, but they will be fighting for something more than that - each other.
