Blonde (2022)

Blonde (literal translation: Blonde) is a 2022 American biographical film directed by Andrew Dominick from a screenplay by Andrew Dominick and Joyce Carol Oates (based on her novel). The film is set to be released in the United States on September 16, 2022.

The film recreates the image of one of Hollywood's most popular icons, Marilyn Monroe (in the role of Ana de Armas). From her volatile childhood as Norma Jeane to her rise to stardom and romantic entanglements, the film blurs the lines between fact and fiction to show where the public ends and her private self begins.
