Since Woody left Bonnie to help rehome abandoned toys, Jessie has taken over as the leader of Bonnie's room, and Buzz has become her second-in-command and closest ally. But now, eight-year-old Bonnie is completely captivated by her new favorite "toy" - a smart frog-shaped device called Lilypad, which seems to be able to talk, think, and even replace her real childhood friends.
After the events in "„Toy Story 4“", Woody has chosen his path, and Bonnie's toys are in a new chapter. In "„Toy Story 5“"However, the old heroes are facing a technological revolution: Bonnie gets a new favorite device - the Lilypad tablet, which the toys have to fight against.
The question is what it means to be a toy in a world where children are drawn to screens, technology, and digital experiences.
