CHIPs: Highway Cops (2017)

CHIPs: Highway cops is a 2017 American comedy film directed by Dax Shepard from a screenplay by Dax Shepard. The film is based on the 1977 television series of the same name. The film premiered in Bulgaria on March 24, 2017.

John Baker (Dax Shepherd) and Frank Ponch Poncherello (Michael Peña) have just joined the California Highway Patrol (CHP) in Los Angeles, but for very different reasons. Baker is a former professional motorsports racer trying to get his life and marriage back on track.

Poncherello is a flashy undercover federal agent investigating a multimillion-dollar heist that may have been the work of the highway cops. The inexperienced braggart and the hardened professional are assigned as partners, but their partnership is a difficult one to achieve. Baker's unique motorcycle skills and Ponch's street savvy might help... if they don't drive everyone around them crazy first.
